Warranty

Shoppa Direct provides a 12 month warranty on all products unless otherwise stated in the product description. 

 

Returns for Damaged or Faulty Products

Damaged Products

In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged please email support@shoppadirect.com.au within 2 days of delivery to make a valid claim.

Please provide your order number or invoice number and a detailed description of the damage and attach a digitally date marked photo of the damaged goods and damaged packaging in order for us to process your claim. Please also indicate if you are claiming a refund or product replacement.

Once your claim has been assessed you will be contacted about the next steps. Please do not attempt to return an item to the address on the packaging or without our prior approval. We will provide the correct return address or drop-off location once we have approved the return and issued you a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA).

Return shipping is to be paid by the customer and will be refunded after the goods have been physically inspected and the warranty claim has been approved.

A refund or replacement will not be provided if goods have been accidentally damaged by the customer or it is evident that the damage was not caused in transit.

 

Faulty Products

If a product arrives faulty please email support@shoppadirect.com.au within 10 days of delivery to make a valid claim.

Please provide your order number or invoice number and a detailed description of the fault, together with a photo or a short video clip, so our customer service team can make a claims assessment. Please also indicate if you are claiming a refund or product replacement.

Once your claim has been assessed you will be contacted about the next steps. Please do not attempt to return an item to the address on the packaging or without our prior approval. We will provide the correct return address or drop-off location once we have approved the return and issued you a RMA.

A refund or replacement will not be provided if goods are accidentally damaged, misused, mishandled, incorrectly installed, not maintained correctly, damaged due to normal wear and tear, power surges, tampering and unauthorised repairs or by not following the manufacturer’s instructions correctly.

 

Consumer Guarantee

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. 

 

Missing or Broken Parts

If a part is missing or broken we can sometimes source replacement parts.

Please email support@shoppadirect.com.au within 10 days of delivery and provide a copy of the assembly instructions indicating which part is missing or broken.

In the event that we can not source the replacement part we may provide a product replacement or an appropriate discount depending on the circumstances.

 

Change of Mind Returns

Shoppa Direct offers a refund for change of mind returns within 14 days of delivery. If you wish to make a change of mind return please email support@shoppadirect.com.au and provide your order number and a photo of the unused item and its original packaging. 

Please do not attempt to return an item to the address on the packaging or without our prior approval. We will provide the correct return address once we have approved the change of mind return and issued you a RMA.

Products must be received at the return address within 14 days of delivery in an unused condition and in their original sealed undamaged packaging for a change of mind claim to be valid. We reserve our right to revise the refund amount if products returned are not received in a saleable condition with all parts and tags, including those damaged during return transit.  

A small restocking fee of 15% of the product price will apply for change of mind returns and any shipping fees paid for delivery, if applicable, will not be refunded. 

Return shipping fees are to be paid by the customer. Bulky items can be expensive to return so please choose carefully.

Certain products cannot be returned due to change of mind such as bedding, mattresses, baby swaddles or other items where health and safety regulations prevent us from reselling the item. 

Purchases made using the ‘buy now, pay later’ option will be refunded back to the service provider upon receiving the returned goods in an unused condition and will also incur a cancellation fee of 6.66% of the total price including shipping, as merchant fees are not refunded back to us.
